AB 1234 – Ethics Training

AB 1234 requires local agency officials who receive compensation or reimbursement to complete at least two hours of ethics training every two years. Below are the current training completion and expiration dates for each member of Zone 7’s Board of Directors: 

AB 1825 – Anti-Harassment Prevention Training

AB 1825 makes anti-harassment prevention training mandatory for officials receiving any compensation. This legislation requires employers to ensure that all officials receive at least two hours of anti-harassment prevention training every two years. Below are the current training completion and expiration dates for each member of Zone 7’s Board of Directors:

SB 827 – Fiscal and Financial Training

SB 827 requires local agency officials to complete fiscal and financial training related to public finance and the stewardship of public funds. The training must be at least two hours in length and must be completed every two years. Officials who began service before January 1, 2026, must complete this training by January 1, 2028. Officials who began service on or after January 1, 2026, must complete the training within six months of assuming office.
