Zone 7 Board of Directors to Begin Public Review of Wholesale Treated Water Rates

Livermore, CA (August 12, 2026) – Zone 7 Water Agency’s Board of Directors will begin a series of public meetings this August to review wholesale treated water rates for calendar years 2027 through 2030. The public process will provide opportunities for residents, businesses, and other interested stakeholders to learn about the factors influencing wholesale water rates and provide public comment before the Board considers adoption of the new rates.

Zone 7’s wholesale treated water rates are established through a comprehensive rate study and public review process. The review helps ensure rates continue to support the reliable delivery of safe, high-quality drinking water while funding the infrastructure, operations, maintenance, regulatory compliance, and long-term investments needed to serve the Tri-Valley community.

The proposed rate study will evaluate wholesale treated water rates for 2027, 2028, 2029, and 2030.

All meetings are open to the public and will be held at the Zone 7 Water Agency Administration Building, 100 North Canyons Parkway in Livermore. Members of the public are encouraged to participate and share comments throughout the process. Meeting agendas and participation information will be posted in advance of each meeting on the Agency’s website.
