Earth Day Lawn to Garden Party
Join Zone 7 Water Agency and the City of Livermore for a fun and rewarding community workday as we transform Madeira Park into a beautiful, low-water landscape. This free, hands-on event invites Tri-Valley residents of all experience levels to learn practical water-saving landscaping skills while helping enhance a local park.

What You’ll Learn:
- Participants will gain hands-on experience with:
- Removing lawn using the sheet mulching method
- Converting a traditional sprinkler system into an efficient drip irrigation system
- Water-wise gardening techniques you can use at home
- Available water conservation rebates and resources
- City of Livermore landscaping staff will guide participants step-by-step.

- Open to all Tri-Valley residents
- All ages welcome (children must be accompanied by an adult)
- No experience necessary — beginners encouraged!
